Simplicity that tells a story

Wij zijn kees, founded by Dorien Dolsma and Jitske Hagens, is a multidisciplinary creative studio specialised in styling, photography, identity and branding. We are beeldmakers, which roughly translates to ‘image makers’ but means that we think mostly in visuals and sometimes in words. As a creative duo, we work closely with our clients – big and small, cultural and commercial, established and starting – to translate their ideas into authentic visuals that are both engaging and memorable. Sometimes it’s a logo, other times it’s a photograph. It can even be every link in the chain to create a coherent whole. Our work is minimalistic but rich in content. We think less is more. We embrace the ability of colours and structures to tell a story. We are wij zijn kees.
